The editor comes with it's own collection of additional built-in scripting components that do the work of dozens of HTML, and CSS statements, such as using text effects within your pages, displaying images, using library files, defining inline style sheets, creating hypertext links and much more.

Compile source code

Any of the Web Author scripting components won't run within a web browser, you need to compile your source code first to view your page. To do this select Create Web page from the editor's Run menu.

Scripting components

You can access any of these scripting components from the editors Include menu, as the following list shows.

Document

Commands such as BaseFont, Title, and page description can be placed within the head section of your HTML document.

Page Layout

Commands such as PageColor, and page margins can be placed within the body section of your HTML document.

Heading

Statements shuch as HeadingOne, and HeadingTwo use the <h1> to <h6> elements to create headings and subheadings within a web page.

Text

You can display text within your web page with the use of MixText, Open Text, Text, and TextStyle commands.

Image 

The Image section of the Include menu allows you to use images within your page. The commands in this section are Image, and PageImage. 

Links

Use this section to create an email link, use an image as a clickable hyperlink, and create a hypertext link within your page.

External Code

You can include external code within your programs with the use of the Call, and StyleSheet commands to link to separate code or CSS script files.
